 First in a series of technical-instructional videos by Pink House Studios and Mark Prent, "Better One Piece Head Molds from Life" takes you step-by-step through the process of molding the entire head, including hair, ears, and the interior of the mouth. This process employs safe materials. Included are techniques and tips to simplify the procedure; find out how to prevent the “drippiness” associated with conventional alginate molds, while at the same time extending your material and achieving a more tear-resistant mold. The resultant mold is suitable for most casting mediums, including “lost wax”.
This video includes a special bonus demonstration of one-piece hand, arm, foot and leg molds.
