Suitable for all skill levels, this DVD is designed to help you become familiar with the techniques and materials available to body painters. The exercises progress from simple to complicated and include brushwork, sponges and finger work. Each section is a step by step “how to” guide and includes working with water and oil based paints, Fuller’s earth, tattoo transfers and painting with tattoo inks. The lessons also include instruction on painting with light and shade and creating illusions. Carolyn narrates through two specific exercises at a thoughtfully paced speed which allows the artist to follow along and practice the exercises as Carolyn is teaching them.
